The heart of our mission in Cambodia is the St Silas Fellowship, a local initiative started through the efforts of Subdeacon Shadi Salama and supported by the Diocese of Melbourne.
“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” — Matthew 10:7
Our team includes medical professionals who provided:
General health checks, Physiotherapy
Dental care & Medication distribution
Our team celebrated the first-ever Coptic liturgy in the province, despite spiritual challenges and obstacles—God was glorified.
In a blessed moment, 13 youth (2 males and 11 females) were baptized into the Coptic Orthodox Church on December 18th, 2024, in Cambodia.
We are actively:
Meeting with church pastors and Christian communities (Baptist, Lutheran, Catholic, Pentecostal)
Hosting Bible studies and Sunday School
Sharing the Gospel through daily interactions and prayer
In partnership with a local school, we hope to secure a facility that can serve both as a school during the week and a church on weekends—bridging education and worship in one sacred space.
We are prayerfully working toward establishing a permanent Coptic Orthodox Church in Cambodia.
We hosted Bible studies to share the love of Christ and deepen understanding of the Scriptures. These sessions have led to baptisms and growing spiritual curiosity among Cambodia’s youth.
We are seeking:
Land for a permanent church
Funding for school partnership ($50,000 capital + $5,000 yearly)
Medical and educational volunteers
Donations and sponsors
